Rich artistic and cultural opportunities for all

The Carroll Arts Center features a wide variety of programs, including films, theatre, concerts, classes, exhibits, a gift shop, annual Art in the Park festival, and more. The Arts Center is also home to the annual PEEPshow - featuring a display of more than 150 artworks created and inspired by Peeps®.

Common Ground on the Hill offers roots-based concerts, as well as arts, music, dance, & cultural arts classes. Across the county, the Barn Quilt Trail, with colorful quilt blocks on scenic barns, pays homage to our agrarian history. And the annual Carroll County Artists’ Studio Tour is a free, self-guided tour of the studios or some of our most respected and accomplished artists, working in a wide array of media.

Carroll County is also home to McDaniel College and Carroll Community College, the Farm Museum, and many live music venues and arts-related businesses.
