Decades of art, entertainment, and history.

For 40 years, Caroline County Council of Arts (CCCA) has been the heart of the arts in Caroline County, hosting classes and events, many of which are free, and supporting public art projects like the Stitching Stories of Freedom byway quilt trail honoring the Underground Railroad. The historically renovated Foundry Community Art Gallery and the Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore (FACES) display beautifully crafted traditional and modern works of art, and provide classes in a variety of artistic mediums.

Both venues are located within the Denton Artsway, a state-designated Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Denton.  For those who aren't able to visit in person, samplings of local artwork can be found on the gallery's Etsy shop. CCCA is also one of the largest sponsors of Caroline Summerfest, an annual free family arts and entertainment festival in historic Denton.  For more information visit
